Steve Dapcic

Steve Dapcic is a VA-accredited claims agent who joined Rep for Vets in 2020.  Coming from a background working for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball, as well as at the University of South Florida, Steve has engaged in many unique partnerships in the Tampa Bay area that recognize and celebrate our service members. While at the Rays, he led community outreach efforts with MacDill Air Force Base (home to U.S. Central Command) and helped nurture a longstanding partnership that remains strong today. During his time at the University of South Florida, he worked closely with the Office of Veteran Success to generate visibility and awareness for comprehensive services and programs that support student veterans. As a result, the University was recognized by the Military Times as the top institution in the country for student veterans on multiple occasions.

Steve attributes his motivation to work with Veterans to his late grandfather, Joseph, who served in World War II.

Outside of The Rep for Vets, you can either find Steve at the Tampa Bay Lightning games, or on a local golf course. Having seen his performances on the golf course, we recommend he sticks to being a hockey fan.
